Fourth of July

Before you look at all the pictures from this year, I found this picture from last year. It's amazing how much they change in one year. I love looking at old pictures and all the memories that come back with them. We celebrated Silverton Day, July 3rd, at the Oregon Garden and the kids ran wild while waiting for the fireworks to arrive. We met up with a few neighbors and shared blankets and laughs. It was ridiculously hot that day, everyone seemed to be looking for shade. Nate and Luke were quite entertaining, they ran on strangers blankets, dodging people, but mostly running from their parents.

Taking a break from all the running for a little car time. Luke didn't mind using Nate's head as his hard surface.
"Thanks Nate, you're a good friend!"
Owen sneaking kettle corn. Rich and Ethan
It's so hard to get pictures of the boys, as they're always moving. I managed to capture one of Nate.
Pretty Sophia and all her personality.

Another Sophia and Lily
More of the gang.
Meghan and Nate
Megan and Nate, same day 2008
Carmel corn run.

Luke managed to stay awake for most of the fireworks.

Fourth of July, neighborhood potluck
Sophia was a little timid the first time around

Luke's first sparkler, I love Sophia's expression in the background. I was scared for him too!
Not so shy anymore.
Could she be any cuter?
Luke had an wonderful weekend, he was pretty exhausted for the next few days.
