Lion Love

We got Luke a fuzzy lion rug this year for Christmas. He has a small obsession with anything stuffed and he's constantly hugging his blankets and stuffed animals. When I saw this, I knew he would love laying on it. I also want to decorate his "big boy room" in a safari theme, so I thought it would be fun to start collecting!

I think he likes it!

Isn't is crazy he is big enough to start thinking about a big boy room?

Christmas in Roseburg

As always, I regret not taking more pictures while we celebrating Christmas with my side of the family. My mom had her camera out a lot so I'll have to see if I can get copies from her. I saw Tatum & Fam, Eunice & Fam, Great Grandma, My whole side of my dad's family, friends from Europe, Tiffany, but not one picture. Here are a few pathetic pictures I did take.
Dad checking out what Santa filled his stocking with. I love stockings, they're my favorite!
Grandma and Grandpa got Luke this winter coat. He looks like a penguin when he walks around.
Luke ignored everyone all day, he was so busy with his cousin Jacob. I'm so thankful they have each other. It was so nice to have someone else chase him around all day!
Luke watching Jacob's every move.
Luke's new bike and there really are no words to describe Jacob.
My little artist.

Only a Grandma is brave enough to let a 16 month old paint.

Check it out, he painted a red "L!"

Christmas in Milwaukie

As always the whole family was blessed.....we were suppose to just buy for the little boys, but for some reason that never happens. (Mike) The boys each got a recorder to play. We had a good laugh, out of all the nice gifts they got, the fifty cent toy was the biggest hit.
I'm so proud of my son....he can even play with his nose.
Lessons from the dads.
Cody got Luke a dump truck to ride on.....it makes sounds and it is so nice to have something for him to ride on. Cody was pushing Luke.
Luke's turn to push. The boys did a pretty good job of sharing...as a family we predict next year will be a bit different.Uncle Luke spoiled the boys with matching blazer outfits! Too fun, thanks Uncle.
A quick game of tackle football.

Snow Craziness

Normally I love the snow and the feeling of relaxation it brings. With over a week of fighting the roads, poor Matt had to put the chains on and off numerous times, we were all ready to be done. Matt had some pretty close calls driving to and from work. I’m so glad all of our cars are still intact. Despite the snow adding a lot of stress to our holiday season, we were still able to have an amazing Christmas with our family and friends.
Matt and big Luke decided to do a little night snowboarding/sledding. Matt found an old 80's snow suit in his parents attic, he did a little snow boarding down their hill.

I was quite impressed, I've never seen him in action. Note: I was only impressed with his skills, not his outfit.

Luke went down on the sled, he found very large fishing gear to wear. Next morning....putting on the chains.
