Oregon Coast

A few weeks ago we all went to a friend's cabin in Yachats with my parents and my grandma. The sunshine was amazing and there wasn't a trace of any wind. I have recently decided I love getting away! You don't have to think about cleaning house, unfinished projects or how to entertain Luke. Although the clean up after a trip is very dreadful, but all so worth it. My mom ran around and took a million pictures for me, so it was all that more relaxing.
Wow!

Grandma and Grandpa
Roasting Smores and Bananas!
If you have never roasted bananas on a fire you should really try it, sounds weird I know, but the sugar caramelizes and it is heavenly goodness. (low in calories too)
Matt would often crouch down to be at Luke's level, in the upcoming pictures Luke started to mimic him.
Playing chase with the waves, it never got old!
Acting like Dad.

One of the best things about being a mom is that you have super human powers to fix any problem, or at least he thinks so.

Papa, Luke and three of his many cars. (the cars are smiling too!)
"Ta-da!" (lined the cars up)

Great Grandma and Papa

It's so easy to burn all that energy on the beach.

Everyone has to try sand at least once in their life.
Bad idea.
Very bad idea.
Need a little help here.
Thanks for all the fun at the beach!

Surprise Party

My mom retired this year after 32 years of teaching. She's been wanting to have her friends' band over to play and have a casual party, so we decided to do it for her. Her friend Linda took her out for a movie and shopping and when she came back, the band was set up and everyone was at the house. Needless to say she was very surprised and everyone had a great time.
Acoustic Blend

After the band called it a night, Jacob and Luke had a little jam session.

Two Little Boys

Nate came over for a play date and Luke thought he was in heaven. They were so cute mimicking every word and action. Luke and Nate played hard and it was so fascinating to watch them interact. Kids definitely can relate to each other. They played so well and there wasn't one tear shed, only giggles and eventually some yawning.

Fascination with Garbage Trucks

Nate showing some love.

Watching Sesame Street...I take that back, Luke was very upset with me when I didn't let them watch anymore television, so there were a few tears.

Playing on the stairs...giving me a heart attack.
Running from Luke
