Snow, Cookies and Gynxy
Happy Snow Days! I've had three snow days this week and two late starts. I was actually a little sad because I had so many fun things planned with my class this week. So we've been cooped up in our house, and we're not used to having so much time on our hands. It's been wonderful! I've had plenty of time to take many pictures..... so enjoy.
Check out those flakes!
Here is a little tribute to Gynxy, as she quickly became #2. Luke is always willing to give her attention. He often yells "kitty" as if she will ever come.
The snow kitty is waiting patiently to come in from the cold.
Is he coming?
Yep! Poor Gynxy can't even look outside in peace.
We wanted to give Luke a chance to play in the snow, but we haven't beem able to get him any snow clothes yet. This photo opportunity only lasted 1 minute and he was just fine with that.

Visiting Santa
Tony, Sacha, and Cody came all the way down from Milwaukie to see Santa. The real Santa lives in Silverton. He was so friendly and let the boys take their sweet time to warm up to the unfamiliar, red, jolly man.

Luke pretty much hated Santa......he would rather go without gifts than have to sit on him.

Cody really wanted to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas, so he gave it a second try.

"Santa, I've been really good this year!"

Second Thanksgiving
The Friday after Thanksgiving we headed down to Roseburg for a couple of days. I came down with strep throat, so it was so nice to have extra help with Luke! Thank you family!!
Luke thinks he's pretty hilarious these days. Give him a wooden spoon and he'll put on quite a show.
Who needs toys when you can knock down yogurt tubs?

We got out of the house briefly and went to a local winery. They actually welcomed Luke, and he had a ball running around on the deck of the balcony.
Marsh Anne Landing was the name of the winery, get it?

Luke had his first official haircut. Great Grandma cut it, Aunt Kristen had to work very hard to keep Luke entertained. Bubbles finally did the trick!
